Amona is a village situated in Bicholim taluka in the North Goa District. It is situated 14km away from sub-district headquarter Bicholim and 25km away from district headquarter and capital city of Panaji. The total geographical area of the village is 669 hectares. Agriculture and Industry related activities are the primary sources of livelihood for the people of Amona. Amona has a total population of 2963 (2011) census with 970 households, 80 commercial of Vedanta Ltd.
